          The town has one Main Health Center in the proper manned by a Rural Health Physician, 1 Public Health Nurse, 13 Midwives, 2 Sanitary Inspectors, 1 Dentist. Cuartero has 18 Barangay Health Stations. It has 220 CVHWs, 21 trained hilots and 22 BSPOs.

 Cuartero is one of the most peaceful towns in the Province of Capiz. Petty crimes are readily addressed to by the PNP Police Force.

Communication/Transportation

   

 The town has good communication facilities. There is a UHF-VHF base in the municipal hall which transmits and receives messages from other towns and provinces. All offices in the Municipal have landline (Globelines) telephone services, including several households in the Poblacion. The town has two cellular sites for 2 major phone companies.

  Going to and around the town is very easy. Barangays can be reached through the improved farm-to-market roads.Cuarterois accessible by transportations going to and from Roxas City, Iloilo City and Kalibo, Aklan. The residence of the First District can pass through via the National Road from the Municipality of Maayon. Cuartero is 1 hour and 30 minutes travel from Iloilo City. It is 45 minutes away from Roxas City and 3 hours away from Caticlan, Aklan.
